TMC Arts Programs for Schools
Arts Integration Partnerships
Arts Integration Partnerships works directly with school districts and classroom teachers on-site to empower student creativity and develop their artistic, workforce and life skills.
The Blue Ribbon Children's Festival
The Blue Ribbon Children's Festival invites fifth-grade classes to enjoy a free performance by a professional dance company and afterward, the students get the chance to dance along, complemented by a targeted curriculum guide.
Dance Learning Programs
The Music Center provides a range of free dance learning opportunities for young people each year from student matinees to invite rehearsals and master classes.
The Music Center’s DANCE Extension (DANCEx®) program is designed to introduce dance students from dance studios and schools across the Los Angeles area to live dance performances from world-class dance companies.
Educational Performances and Assemblies
Book an educational assembly for your school from our roster of 60 performances in music, dance, theatre and storytelling.
Very Special Arts Festival
This annual free, inclusive event celebrates the artistic achievements of students with all abilities.
When we speak of our vision to deepen the cultural lives of all Angelenos, we turn to the work of TMC Arts. This team champions the diverse voices and communities of Los Angeles, fostering connection, creativity and enrichment. TMC Arts programs connect people, offering us the chance to get creative and to learn as we discover something new or enjoy something familiar. Many programs are free and low-cost; they take place outdoors on Jerry Moss Plaza at The Music Center and in Grand Park, inside The Music Center's theatres and in schools and neighborhoods all across L.A. County.
