Our Commitment To Your Safety
Safety is our number one priority at The Music Center, and we promise to provide you the best, safest experience possible when you visit. With Our Commitment to Your Safety*, we enhance safety and minimize risk for our guests, artists, staff and volunteers who are visiting or working at The Music Center.
We work closely with both the State of California and the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health to implement safety guidelines and have embraced the highest standards of safety, sanitation and security. We will continually update campus procedures and protocols for both outdoor and indoor events and performances for our entry areas, lobbies, restrooms, seating areas, box office, stage and backstage, food and beverage preparation and the administrative offices for The Music Center organization and our resident companies, Center Theatre Group, the Los Angeles Master Chorale, LA Opera and LA Phil.
Please note that some protocols may be adjusted based on the nature of an event or performance.
What We Ask You To Do

Stay Home if You are Sick
If you have a cough, difficulty breathing, fever or chills; have been exposed to COVID-19 in the past 14 days; or are currently under quarantine or isolation, please stay home. If you are a ticketholder, please contact the Box Office for your performance or event to inquire about ticket exchange, donation or refund.

Wash Your Hands
Wash your hands with soap and water or use the hand sanitizer stations located around The Music Center campus and Grand Park.

Face Coverings
The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health has continued its mask mandate for all County facilities, including The Music Center. Our mask mandate remains in effect for anyone who visits the theatres for indoor performances, events and tours, as well as to dine in the restaurants on The Music Center campus. We encourage the use of masks for anyone outdoors on The Music Center campus. In addition, you must wear a face covering once you enter an outdoor concert and/or dancing area during an event on Jerry Moss Plaza. We recommend disposable 3-ply surgical masks, N95, KN95, or KF94 masks.

Bring valid I.D. and proof of full vaccination (or negative COVID test)
All patrons must pass through COVID-19 screening for any performances or events inside The Music Center's theatres. Please bring a valid I.D. and either proof of full vaccination or a negative COVID test. If you are presenting a negative COVID test, an antigen test must be taken within 24 hours prior to the start of the event, and a PCR test must be taken within 48 hours prior to the start time; this includes children over 2 years of age. At-home COVID tests will not be accepted for entry.
