On October 22 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Grand Ave Arts: All Access invites all to explore, be curious, pop in and choose their own adventure with more than 10 participating cultural institutions along Grand Avenue opening their doors to visitors of all ages for a day of free workshops, performances, tours, and interactive events.
Journey along Grand Avenue in Downtown L.A. to explore art, music, dance, literature, and more: all events are free and open to the public, rain or shine!

Creating Our Next L.A. Art Installation

L.A. Commons transforms Jerry Moss Plaza at The Music Center into an art installation built upon the community’s dreams for our next L.A. Creating Our Next LA is a celebration of collective visions for a brighter future featuring Dream in Ribbons, an interactive art installation; a participatory procession; poetry and artmaking workshops; a drum circle; and community/voter resources designed to inspire creative civic engagement, foster a sense of unity and invite Angelenos to collectively envision an equitable Los Angeles.
Join The Music Center for an afternoon of dreaming, exploration, artistic expression and celebration of our collective visions for a brighter future. -
Grand Park's Downtown Día de los Muertos
Altars and Ofrendas on view October 22 - November 2, 2022
Visitors to Grand Park can celebrate the traditions of Día de los Muertos, contribute to the community altar and view more than 50 altars created by local artists and community groups.

Take a tour of The Music Center’s architecturally stunning Walt Disney Concert Hall, designed by famed architect, Frank Gehry and home to the LA Phil and the Los Angeles Master Chorale.

- Opening of Dream in Ribbons art installation on Jerry Moss Plaza at The Music Center.

- Artmaking activities
- Ribbon making to contribute to Dream in Ribbons
- Voter registration information with Stop by the LA Voice.
- Poetry readings by local artists and opportunities to or participate in a poetry activity led by community partner Tia Chucha’s Centro Cultural.
2:45 PM:
- Participatory dance circle led by Jahanna Blunt featuring Korean, Aztec, Afro-Brazilian, and West African dance styles.
