For 33 years, Southern California high school students have turned to The Music Center’s Spotlight program for arts training in a supportive community. This year, 1,500 actors, singers, dancers and musicians auditioned to receive personalized feedback and guidance from industry experts, tutorials from The Spotlight Academy series, and the chance to win scholarships and experience mastery classes with world-renowned artists.

Spotlight Virtual Grand Finale

Join us virtually as we celebrate the artisty, growth and achievements of our students during their year-long journey. The program will feature spectacular performances by our 14 Spotlight Grand Prize Finalists, and more!

Provides mastery classes with world-renowned artists and artistic directors in each of the seven artistic disciplines for more than 100 Spotlight Semifinalists and hundreds of student observers.
Provides virtual semifinal auditions in seven categories with distinguished panels of judges, including coaching and customized feedback on students' technique and artistry.
Helps fund the production of The Spotlight Academy, a series of free online performing arts workshops and talks led by leading arts professionals.
Helps ensure that every student who applies to Spotlight receives detailed personalized written feedback from professional artists.
Supports our Spotlight alumni with mentorship and networking opportunities, as well as assistance with college placement and booking professional jobs.
