LA Commons playlist "Creating Our Next LA” was curated by the LA Commons team in collaboration with Los Angeles youth, artists and community members.
“The Creating Our Next LA collaborative music playlist unites Angelenos of all identities and cultures together in community. Through upbeat, feel-good, harmonic and multicultural songs with keywords such as ‘freedom,’ ‘respect’ and ‘love’, the playlist evokes our community’s vision for the future Los Angeles. By collecting songs from local youth, artists and community members to imagine a brighter future, we hope to make their narratives and voices heard by Los Angeles visitors.”
