The Our Lady of the Angels Children's Chorus was founded by Music Teacher Cristopher Avendaño as part of his choral program. As a teacher in several schools in the greater Los Angeles area, Avendaño would combine his choirs to perform together in concerts and festivals here and abroad. This year, the combined choirs performing are from Immaculate Heart of Mary Elementary School in Hollywood and St. Genevieve School in Panorama City.
