The Citrus Singers
Established in 1968 by internationally acclaimed conductor and educator, Ben D. Bollinger, the Citrus Singers are a world-renowned performance troupe of young young performers that present a wide array of musical genres, including Musical Theater, the Great American Songbook, Sacred and Secular Classical Choral Repertoire as well as pop and contemporary hits out of Citrus College in Glendora, California.
The Citrus Singers holds the distinction of being the only American choir to win the International Choral Festival in Spittal, Austria. Additional invitational appearances include performing at the Glinka Capella in St. Petersburg, Russia, the American Choral Directors’ Convention in Kansas City, Missouri; the Vienna Symposium for outstanding international choirs; the opening of the Museum of Maritime Science in Japan; The Riebeld Festival in Denmark; and the Midnight Sun Choral Festival in Tromso, Norway. The Singers have performed the Brahms Requiem with the London Philharmonic Orchestra as well as with the British Chamber Orchestra, under the direction of Helmuth Rilling.
