Sean Oliu and The Coastline Cowboys
L.A. County Holiday Celebration Featured Performers
Sean Oliu is a prolific young singer, songwriter, musician and actor from Southern California. Sean fell in love with country music as a young boy when his grandfather introduced him to the great Country music legends. Ever since then, Oliu has been intertwining country with the influences of Blues, and early Rock n’ Roll to form his own unique musical style. Oliu’s broad appeal led him to become the youngest Mouseketeer on the digital-first variety program Club Mickey Mouse. In 2013, at the age of 11, he advanced out of a pool of over 6500 invited contestants to be one of six finalists on the NBC/Telemundo program La Voz Kids (the Spanish version of The Voice).
Oliu opened for Rachel Patten at the VH1 Save The Music Holiday Concert and was selected to record and perform the title tracks “Remember Me” and “Un Poco Loco” (from the movie Coco) with Anthony Gonzalez. He was thrilled to open for Leanne Rimes on her You and Me Christmas Tour. He recently returned from Nashville where he had the honor to perform at the legendary Bluebird Café, the original Basement, and to record and write with some of Country music’s leading artists. Oliu’s talents have opened the door to collaborations with many other talented musicians and to a current partnership with Grammy-winning producer and songwriter Darrell Brown. Oliu was most recently humbled to be awarded the 2020 O.C. Artist of the Year.
When he isn’t collaborating with other artists, Oliu enjoys playing all around the Southland with his three-piece country music band – Sean Oliu and The Coastline Cowboys. Because of his belief in the power of music, he started Kids Giving Back, a non-profit and fundraiser, to support music in schools. As of this year Kids Giving Back has raised over $50,000.
