Sean Oliu and The Coastline Cowboys
L.A. County Holiday Celebration Featured Performers
Sean Oliu is a prolific young singer, songwriter, musician and actor from Southern California. Sean fell in love with country music as a young boy when his grandfather introduced him to the great Country music legends. Ever since then, Sean has been intertwining country with the influences of Blues, and early Rock n’ Roll to form his own unique musical style. In 2013, at the age of eleven, he advanced out of a pool of over 6,500 invited contestants to be one of six finalists on the NBC/Telemundo program La Voz Kids (the Spanish version of The Voice). Sean’s broad appeal led him to become the youngest Mouseketeer on the digital-first variety program Club Mickey Mouse.
Sean opened for Rachel Platten at the VH1 Save The Music Holiday Concert and was selected to record and perform the title tracks "Remember Me" and "Un Poco Loco" from the movie Coco with Anthony Gonzalez. He was thrilled to open for LeAnn Rimes on her "You and Me Christmas Tour". He recently returned from Nashville where he had the honor to perform at the legendary Bluebird Cafe, the Original Basement, and to record and write with some of Country music's leading artists. Sean's talents have opened the door to collaborations with many other talented musicians and to a current partnership with Grammy-winning producer and songwriter Darrell Brown. Sean was also humbled to be awarded the 2020 OC Artist of the Year. A highlight in the very challenging year of 2020 was being the first country music artist chosen to be part of the 61st Annual L.A. County Holiday Celebration on PBS.
When he isn’t collaborating with other artists, Sean enjoys playing all around the Southland with his three-piece country music band – Sean Oliu and The Coastline Cowboys. Accompanying Sean’s deep and soulful classic country sound are his close friends and very talented musicians Nathan Reyes and Danny Hudson. Because of their beliefs in the power of music and giving back, he and the band continuously participate in numerous fundraisers that support music in schools, community and first responder events.
