Can I exchange my tickets?
Full subscribers may exchange tickets across engagements within the same season for free up to 48 hours in advance of performance--pay only for the difference in ticket price.
Flex subscribers may exchange tickets within the same engagement in the same seating section for a $5 exchange fee per ticket.
Tickets for a past performance are not eligible for exchange. This applies to both Full and Flex Subscribers. All exchanges are subject to availability. The Box Office makes every effort to provide the best available seating at the time of your exchange. However, comparable seats are not guaranteed. Exchange early for the best seats. While subscribers receive special discounted rates on all seats, if you exchange into a higher-priced seat or date, you will be charged the difference. No refund is made if tickets are exchanged to a lower-priced seat or date; the difference of this exchange becomes a charitable contribution.
Exchanges made 48 hours and up to 2 hours before the original date and time on the tickets are considered an emergency exchange. The emergency exchange fee is $25 per ticket, in addition to any additional charges you may incur when changing into a higher-priced section or any difference to the current price.

What do I do if I lost my tickets?
Subscribers may call the box office at (213) 972-0711 for the replacement of lost or stolen tickets for a fee of $2 per ticket. For your protection, replacement tickets can only be picked up at the Box Office directly before the performance.
What do I do if I can no longer attend a performance?
If you are unable to attend, please consider donating your tickets to The Music Center for resale and and receive a record of your donation for tax deduction.
Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds or credits for unused tickets. However, if you know in advance that you cannot attend a performance for which you have purchased a ticket, you may exchange that ticket for a different performance for a $25/ticket exchange fee.
To donate your tickets, please call (213) 972-0711. You will receive a receipt for this donation. You may also mail or fax your ticket donation. Tickets must arrive one hour before curtain time on the day of the performance to be considered a donation. Donating your tickets as soon as possible will increase our chances of reselling them.
The value of your tickets will be acknowledged as a charitable contribution after the performance. (This amount will not be applied toward donor benefits.)
What time should I arrive for the performance?
We recommend arriving at The Music Center at least one hour prior to the start time of the performance. This will help to ensure that you have sufficient time to park and pick up tickets at will call if necessary. Should you find yourself at a performance with time to spare, you can enjoy DanceTalks in Stern Grand Hall. DanceTalks offer a fascinating behind-the-scenes pre-performance discussion beginning one hour prior to each performance. Keep in mind, late seating opportunities vary for each engagement. If you arrive after the performance has begun, you may be asked to wait in the lobby until intermission to be seated. There are flat screen monitors in the lobbies for you to view the performance until you can be seated.
I’d like to bring my young child to a dance performance. Is there an age limit?
Everyone is welcome to enjoy dance, however, we recommend ages 8 and up for most dance performances. Anyone entering the theatre must have a ticket, including lap infants. House management reserves the right to remove parties with noisy children from the audience area to ensure the enjoyment of all patrons.
What should I wear? Is there a dress code?
There is no standard dress code, however, shirts and shoes are required. We recommend dress attire anywhere from business casual to formal.
What are the benefits of being a subscriber?
Besides access to the best seats for all engagements, there are many other great benefits to be a full subscriber to the dance series.
Where can I eat at The Music Center?
Extend your evening at The Music Center with a pleasurable meal before your performance at one of the many restaurants in downtown Los Angeles. Park once for dinner and a show! When is casting announced?
Casting is usually decided just prior to a company's arrival at The Music Center and is posted on each Engagement Information page as soon as it is known.
