Tchaikovsky 1812 Overture & Leonard Bernstein Centennial Salute

Featuring Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture and a Leonard Bernstein Centennial Salute, the LA Lawyers Philharmonic & Legal Voices will celebrate their 9th Annual Concert Extraordinaire under the baton of founder-conductor Gary S. Greene, Esq. The concert will commemorate the 100th birthday of legendary composer and conductor Leonard Bernstein by performing his most popular works with selections from West Side Story, Candide and On the Town. “The Promise of Living” from The Tender Land by Aaron Copland will also be performed. Actor Edward Asner will receive the June Lockhart Humanitarian Award and will deliver a tribute to Bernstein. Hon. John Mirisch will receive Honorary Membership. Radio personality Bill Handel will MC. Jim Raycroft is the choral director.
