Grand Park + The Music Center's N.Y.E.L.A.
For the sixth year, Grand Park + The Music Center’s N.Y.E.L.A. will be the go-to central gathering place in Los Angeles where Angelenos from all over the county and visitors from across the globe ring in the New Year. This unique civic event, which has been recognized alongside major New Year’s Eve celebrations around the world, brings Angelenos and their family and friends together to celebrate the holiday at L.A.’s biggest dance party. Grand Park + The Music Center’s N.Y.E.L.A. will focus on music and dancing with two stages. Guests will enjoy 3-D digital video mapping on the side of the iconic City Hall with an integrated light show inspired by the theme L.A. Dreams, based on the limitless vision of 5th and 6th graders from across L.A. County for a better tomorrow.

Food & Drink Policy
Outside food is welcome in backpacks or totes. Coolers are not permitted in the event space.
The size of bags and backpacks/totes must be standard backpack size or smaller (16.75 inches x 13 inches x 8.5 inches).
No outside beverages including juice and soda (sealed juice boxes are the only exception). Only empty, non glass water bottles are allowed. Park water fountains and water for purchase booths will be available in the event space. Food vendor booths will be available throughout event space.
Event entrance protocol includes mandatory bag checks, pat downs and metal detector wands for all patrons. To ensure lines move as quickly as possible, please plan ahead and read all event info below to know what is allowed and what is prohibited. Early arrival is recommended. Your patience is appreciated.
You can bring the following:
- Ponchos/Waterproof outerwear
- Sealed juice boxes
- Small bags
- Smiling faces
- Empty reusable non-glass water containers.
Please do not bring the following:
- Bags and backpacks measuring larger than standard backpack size (16.75 inches x 13 inches x 8.5 inches)
- Bicycles (parking for bicycles is available outside of event at Hill Street and West 2nd Street)
- Confetti cannons
- Drones (including drone operation)
- Flag poles
- Sealed or open beverage bottles with liquid, including water (fountains and water for purchase will be available)
- Projection devices
- Printed signage measuring larger than 8.5 inches x 11 inches
- Selfie sticks
- Unleashed animals
The following is also prohibited:
- Amplified Noise
- Outside solicitation
- Public intoxication
- Staking objects to the ground
- Unauthorized vending
N.Y.E.L.A. is an alcohol-free, family-friendly event; no beer garden or point of purchase. No alcohol is permitted in the event space.
This is a space for unity – where Angelenos and visitors from all around the world can celebrate together. Any bullying, discrimination, or hateful acts are not allowed in this space. If you are an attendee, and you see something, say something.
