The Music Center Presents
MOVES AFTER DARK
The Music Center’s Moves After Dark™ returns for a third season, featuring world premieres from three female-led, Los Angeles-based contemporary dance companies that will provide compelling and inventive performances in a variety of non-traditional performance spaces outdoors, around The Music Center's Walt Disney Concert Hall.
Held on nights when The Music Center theatres are typically “dark,” or not in use, Moves After Dark asks audiences to travel to where the dancers are performing, creating unique vantage points for the site-specific work. Audiences will be guided in rotating groups, watching separate performances simultaneously.
Approximately 1.5 hours. Each evening will feature the same companies and works.
Audiences will view and encounter the performances while standing, seated and in transition to specific performance locations. Due to the highly transitional nature of this event, some obstructed views may be experienced for short periods.
