Spotlight is committed to helping students who are interested in careers in the arts, (such as arts administration and behind-the-scenes careers), with its new program called Spotlight Offstage.
- Learn about the many different career paths in the arts and the “creative industry” from a life on the stage or backstage, designing and building costumes to marketing programs, program design and fundraising
- Share in dialogue with peers and professionals around the kinds of skills and qualities that must be developed to build and sustain effective work habits in careers in and out of the creative industry
- Participate in career path presentations and conversations with The Music Center staff including: Marketing, Programming, Education, Development, Production and Guest Services
If your school is interested in participating in one of our In School Speaker Series programs, please contact us at spotlight@musiccenter.org
