María Fernanda Pino Maldonado considers it her mission to use her love of music in the field of child development, enveloping young persons with the moral and social values ​​necessary to succeed in both the personal and professional environments.

María comes from training in the internationally renowned “El Sistema” in Venezuela, and she brings a wide variety of knowledge and expertise to the children!  She will be singing songs in Spanish, using bells for rhythm and pitch, and teaching young musicians foundational principles such as steady beat, pitch, melody, and more.

María was born in Venezuela in 1988, received her musical training there, and was admitted into the violin orchestra at the age of 9.  She has conducted orchestras for young adults and children in the Venezuelan state of Falcón.  María served as professor and musical director of the Chair of Viola at the UEMI Carlos Soublette, forming part of the Venezuelan Orchestral and Choral Programs for Teens and Children.

María also finished her studies at the Simón Bolívar Music Conservatory in Caracas while also serving as a principal viola player.  She was a member of the Chacao Youth Symphony Orchestra, and has taught a special education music program utilizing "Bells of Colors" in the Paraguaná peninsula.
