Take a journey through space, time and the imagination as The Music Center bends reality to create an otherworldly experience late into the night. Drawing inspiration from futurism, space, time travel and sci-fi, The Music Center’s Dorothy Chandler Pavilion is transformed into a mothership of spatial delights, becoming a portal to the past, altering the state of now and glimpsing into the future. Join the ultimate nighttime odyssey featuring a lineup of L.A.’s cosmic artists.

> There are real stars in L.A.! You can find them with the help of onsite experts and an array of professional telescopes. Also in the mix are Kaleidoscopic Telescopes curated with reflected images and colorful visions by L.A.-based artists Brian Cooper, Alexis Macnab, Moira MacDonald and Merriane Nedreberg.

> Travel through time as you search the night sky with live classical music from Kroma Quartet and sets from DJ’s Frosty and Joey Altruda playing an eclectic mix of sci-fi, exotica, lounge and 50s space-age records on The Music Center Plaza.

> Enter the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion through an LED tunnel created by Michael Ohsann as you travel with music by Scanner, Link, Beaumont Hannant, Polygon Window (Aphex Twin), Richard H. Kirk, Speedy J, Mark Franklin & Autechre from the classic Warp Records VHS compilation "Motion" from 1994.

> Are you game? Enter the Hope Arcade and play classic video games like PacMan, Galaga, Space Invaders and more as pulsing 80s electropop and lighting by Sohail Najafi set the scene for you to revisit your youth.

> Descend into the Lower Lobby Video Vault as designer Keith Skretch transports viewers to another time and place through live video capture while altering and delaying them. Catch yourself, or your former self, on the big screen. With artists Rebecah Goldstone, Ariana Daub, Thibaut Eiferman, David Maurice and Genna Moroni.

> Linger, lounge Lie Down + Look Up in Stern Grand Hall as curated by Moogfest featuring Rhys Fulber, Mike Dobler, Tom Hall, Skyler King, Nicholas Rossi and Bana Haffar. Tune into this space of oversized bean bags, cushions, modular synth exploration, and large-scale projections by video artist Jennifer Juniper Stratford and Stephi Duckula.

> Original minimalist compositions and sounds by JD Emmanuel envelop the Asteroid Tunnel Corridor as video projections saturate the space with color and high-contrast star fields.

> Space oddities can get their dance on in the Founders Room with Funkmosphere's Billy Goods, DJ Randy Watson, LAROJ, Eddy Funkster and Dâm-Funk, and take in lighting by Sohail Najafi with set design by Alima Jennings.
