Joni Swenson and Santa Monica Symphony Orchestra

In an effort to acknowledge and recognize the many arts educator applicants and awardees, this year’s event was held on stage at the Walt Disney Concert Hall and was hosted by acclaimed producer/director Garry Marshall. The evening included performances by 2008 Bravo award winner San Marino High School Chamber Singers and Santa Monica High School Symphony Orchestra, lead by 2008 Bravo finalist Joni Swenson. Cash prizes accompanying the teacher awards are made possible, in part, by generous gifts from Club 100 members Mary Levin Cutler, Sue Tsao, and Elinor Turner.
