| Eleanor Academia - Songwriting and Composition
Workshop:
Eleanor Academia, a virtuoso artist and Billboard No. #1 Chart Topping Recording Artist/Producer, offers two different multi-session workshop series:
History of Rock - Songwriting & Composition: This 5-session series teaches students to compose original lyrics and rhythms and create their own original "12-bar blues song" through collaboration with other students within a "band" structure. The series culminates with a concert performance of the History of Rock & Roll.
World Kulintang Institute - Composition & Arranging: A 5-session series during which students create and arrange original 16-bar compositions based on ancient rhythms from the Kulintang tradition. Students learn about traditional culture, history, composition and arranging techniques and are perform the compositions within an ensemble. The series culminates with a performance by World Kulintang Institute, the ancient gong/drum ensemble from the Southern Philippines.
Price:
$100 per 60-minute workshop, plus possible planning fee. Minimum three workshops per day must be scheduled.

Teacher In-Service Price: $100/hour (2-hour minimum required), plus additional planning fee.
