LA's Rite Symposium
Join the worlds’s leading dance experts for an intimate afternoon, as they explore The Rite of Spring from many angles. Meet Millicent Hodson and Kenneth Archer who return to The Music Center, twenty-five years after their reconstruction premiered here. They are joined by Lorin Johnson, Artistic Advisor for LA’s Rite; Lynn Garafola, Ph.D.; John Bowlt, Ph. D.; Nicoletta Misler Ph.D.; and Sasha Anawalt. Art, music and dance lovers will be treated to a rare insider’s view of one of history’s most influential works on the occasion of its 100th anniversary.
