The tenth anniversary of Glorya Kaufman Presents Dance at The Music Center (KDMC) celebrates time-honored dance classics alongside works by today's most innovative and renowned choreographers. Highlighting the significant history of dance at The Music Center, KDMC will present three beloved companies - Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, American Ballet Theatre and The Joffrey Ballet - whose unrivaled influence on Los Angeles spans the past five decades. The season will feature a world premiere and a U.S. debut by two of the most influential choreographers of the 21st century - Benjamin Millepied's L.A. Dance Project and Christopher Wheeldon's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland with The National Ballet of Canada. An ever expanding range of offerings include Traces, an extraordinary physical theater experience that is redefining live performance the world over, and two compelling companies - Hubbard Street Dance Chicago and Alonzo King LINES Ballet - sharing the stage, a dance series first.
