The Jumpstart TMC Program
The Music Center launched Jumpstart TMC in the summer of 2015 with funding from JPMorgan Chase & Co. dedicated to introducing young people to the many arts-adjacent career opportunities. The program offers 30 part-time summer employment opportunities for youth 16 years and older. Jumpstart TMC recruits work 20 hours a week across various departments and at The Music Center's four venues - the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, Ahmanson Theatre, Mark Taper Forum and Walt Disney Concert Hall - learning creative problem solving, customer service, public safety and personal presentation skills.
